“Loam means rich soil”
Join activities to build genuine friendships or gatherings to find your tribe
I built Loam because I know what it feels like to be surrounded by people and still feel deeply alone.
I grew up in a restrictive Christian environment where belonging felt conditional and connection felt unsafe. Later, even as I built a successful life on the outside, that sense of being an outsider followed me everywhere. I learned the hard way that loneliness isn’t solved by proximity or activity — it’s healed through people who can meet you in faith, truth, and presence.
Loam was born from that longing.
A space for Christians to meet in real life through shared experiences, without pressure, performance, or pretending. A community where friendship comes first, faith is respected, and connection is allowed to grow naturally.
Mostly singles. All welcome.
